ibm00001dll.exe missing
I followed all of the (before posting) instructions in the spyware forum and I've cleaned a lot of garbage out and I only crashed the system twice. The first time corrupted my browser and internet settings, preventing me from accessing the internet. It only took me three days to gain access so I could download and reinstall ie 6. The second time I managed to delete the user file and crashed the whole computer. This would not have bothered me had my wife not thrown my windows me install disk away, but with a couple of corupted boot discs and a lot of dumb luck I've managed to restore my system, and I still haven't got a clue as to how I did it. The only effect I've had on ibm00001dll is at one point it had become ibm00002dll. It must have sobered up and quit seeing double because it's back to ibm00001dll again. The only affect I've noticed besides the annoying message (ibm00001dll.exe missing) everytime I reboot, is that it has become extremly difficult to access links with my mouse, half the time everything freezes and I have to reboot or the web page will blink and I haven't gone anywhere. The best way I've found to get around is to cut and paste the link in the address bar which seems to work most of the time. I suspect it's a redirect trying to send me who knows where but is unable because of spybot. One other problem I'm having, when I try to defrag my hard drive. When I leave it set to correct errors it never gets beyond 6% but if I stop the error correction it defrags the whole disc. I hope someone can help me before I manage to turn my computer into a boat anchor

Please download 'Hijack This!'. http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/files/HijackThis.exe
Save it in a convenient permanent folder such as C:\HJT\, double click HijackThis.exe, and hit "Do a system scan and save a logfile".
When the Notepad window opens, do Ctrl-A to Select All, and copy its contents here. Most of what it lists will be harmless or even essential, don't fix anything yet.
