Plus (+) sign driving me mad!

Hi,
I,ve just joined this forum. I need some help please. Every time I open out a document or web page that has a blank part to be filled in, the plus sign automatically fills this in.Sometimes I cannot stop it.

    It sounds like the contact on your plus key is stuck. You can either try to clean it, or replace the keyboard.

    Thanks for your comments , I had'nt thought of that, I will give it a try and let you know if itis sucessfull. It is uncanny though, as I do not use the plus key or even touch the mouse when this occurs?

    If there is some moisture under there, it doesn't make any difference if you've never used that key. The computer thinks you're holding it down.

    BTW, wynisog, you don't have to quote and then write your message in a different reply; you can just put your reply underneath the quote.

    wynisog, I've sorted your posts, hope you don't mind. As scar said, you can type a message under the quotes and then post. :)

    BTW, if someone thinks this belongs in another forum, just say and it'll be moved.
