Did I get screwed or...?

edited July 2006 in Hardware
So, I was recently in the market for my final AGP slot Video Card, and ended up going with a Sapphire Radeon X1600, 256meg card.

Unfortunatly, the salesman claimed that the card supported 2 monitors, and this doesn't seem to be the case...

I also moved across the continent couple of days after buying the card, so a return will be a difficult and likely fruitless prospect...

Anyone think of something I could be doing wrong? or did I just get screwed... I've used numerous 2 monitor Gfx cards in the past, so I am not inexperienced in dealing with them...

It supports dual monitor. I think you have your drivers misconfigured somehow.

Any idea if it also supports TV-Out as the 2nd monitor?

Yeh, it should run 2 monitors no problem, if you play games with both screens, it might slow down a bit, but it should be find for all other apps.
