NEEd HELP QUICK

Ok i have a dell not that old i boot it up and everythings fine until the windows xp load up screen comes up 1 bar passes and the comp restartes! whats wrong?

    Have you tried booting into Safe Mode? Tap the F8 key before Windows starts to load, then select it from the list.
