Hi, I'm going to build a new box, I've just purchased from Tigerdirect,
It' s a real inexpensive combo from intel MBM-GVHZL-340 with Celeron D and
I'm going to use it for linux distros.
I'm interested to get some feed back.
Before you install Linux, BTW, make sure it is compatible with all of your hardware (or at least all of the parts you can live with working.) Also, try to find a distro that you are happy with and is very compatible out of the box.
Hi macdude, I did install Fedora Core 5 on top of Win XP and I'm dual booting, So far np, Don't know for how long? Only one thing I noticed my cable speed seems slower on the downloads wth Linux? Any input? Thanks. fvs
