WIndows xp 64 installing help

:honoes: Hi, I just downloaded the windows xp 64 trial from microsoft and i am haveing trouble installing it. I have burnt the iso to a cd but when i restart my computer the cd doesn't boot. I have went to mobo settings and put my cd-rom to start up first and have also tryed to type in setup.exe in a windows explorer but then it says i need to load cd when the computer is starting. Plz i have been trying all day.

Amd64 3700+
1 gig ram
nvidia 6800gt
120 gig hd
mobo:asus A8n-sli

    Did you burn the iso file to CD or did you actually image it?

    i did both. At first i just copied it but found out that didnt work so i put the image on the cd by useing alcohol 120%
