thats good it didnt find anything..now please do a system scan only in HJT and fix this line-->R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Local Page =
reboot then submit these 2 following files to http://virusscan.jotti.org/ and copy/paste the results of the 2 files (be sure to upload each file at a time not twice in one upload) the files are -->C:\WINDOWS\system32\tjoqe.exe
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\Userinit.exe,feuuoei. exe

Please download Qoofix by RubbeR DuckY from http://www.malwarebytes.org/Qoofix.zip
1. Unzip all files to a convenient location such as C:\Qoofix.
2. Go to the folder you unzipped all files and run Qoofix.exe.
3. Click Begin Removal and wait for the scan to finish.
4. If an infection has been found, select yes to restart your computer.

Finally post a new HijackThis log and the contents of the Qoofix logfile.

hmm lets try a more powerful tool for those 2 pesky files.. please do this:

Download Avenger from here:
http://swandog46.geekstogo.com/avenger.zip

Open the program. Check the 'Input script manually' option.
Click the Magnifying Glass icon.
In the box that opens, paste this: *all the text in the code box copy & paste*
Files to delete:
C:\WINDOWS\system32\tjoqe.exe
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\Userinit.exe,feuuoei. exe

and click 'Done'

Click the Traffic Light icon to start the program, and OK the prompts to reboot your PC.

Post the Avenger output.txt, which you can find at C:\Avenger\.txt

hmm this is even baffling me..try going into safe mode and manually find and delete them using windows explorer.let me know how that goes (if you can find them)
• edited July 2006
Wow, this malware is crazy, when I go to safemode, I try searching for the 2 file but can’t find it, and the file that I know is going to be there is gone, but once I turn it to normal mode it come back, so wow, it hide when I go to safemode, either that or something else happen, btw when I start ad-aware I scan and found 2 file that just stuck in there and can’t be delete, and I think they are the same 2 file I trying to delete, so here the name of the thing.

Please run the BitDefender online scan from here; http://www.bitdefender.com/scan8/ie.html
You will need to allow an active x install for the scan to run.
Leave the scanning options at default and press "click here to scan"
When finished scanning, click on "click here to export the scan report"
Save it to your desktop, at "file name" type in "bdscan" then click save.
Please attach the bdscan.html file to your next post along with a new hijackthis log.

hmm lets try this:
First download ewido anti-spyware from HERE and save that file to your desktop.
This is a 30 day trial of the program
1. Once you have downloaded ewido anti-spyware, locate the icon on the desktop and double-click it to launch the set up program.
2. Once the setup is complete you will need run ewido and update the definition files.
3. On the main screen select the icon "Update" then select the "Update now" link.
• Next select the "Start Update" button, the update will start and a progress bar will show the updates being installed.
4. Once the update has completed select the "Scanner" icon at the top of the screen, then select the "Settings" tab.
5. Once in the Settings screen click on "Recommended actions" and then select "Quarantine".
6. Under "Reports"
• Select "Automatically generate report after every scan"
• Un-Select "Only if threats were found"
Close ewido anti-spyware, Do Not run a scan just yet, we will shortly.
1. Reboot your computer into SafeMode. You can do this by restarting your computer and continually tapping the F8 key until a menu appears. Use your up arrow key to highlight SafeMode then hit enter.
IMPORTANT: Do not open any other windows or programs while ewido is scanning, it may interfere with the scanning proccess:
2. Lauch ewido-anti-spyware by double-clicking the icon on your desktop.
3. Select the "Scanner" icon at the top and then the "Scan" tab then click on "Complete System Scan".
4. ewido will now begin the scanning process, be patient this may take a little time.
Once the scan is complete do the following:
5. If you have any infections you will prompted, then select "Apply all actions"
6. Next select the "Reports" icon at the top.
7. Select the "Save report as" button in the lower left hand of the screen and save it to a text file on your system (make sure to remember where you saved that file, this is important).
8. Close ewido and reboot your system back into Normal Mode and post the results of the ewido report scan.

hmm, this is confusing, the _delete_on_reboot file is gone, when i scan with ewido it found nothing, but when i start it in normal mode, the residence shield keep saying tjoqe.exe is causing a problem, and avg keep poping up saying downloader.generic.ziv is still there.

lets try this Download KillBox from here:

KillBox

Unzip the folder to your desktop.

* Start Killbox.exe
* Select the Delete on Reboot option.
* Click on the All Files button.
* Copy the complete text in bold below to the clipboard by highlighting the filepaths and pressing Control + C:

C:\WINDOWS\system32\tjoqe.exe
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\Userinit.exe,feuuoei.exe

* Go to the File menu of Killbox, and choose Paste from Clipboard.
NOTE: You must use the file File menu--pasting by right-clicking the mouse will only enter one file.
* Click the Delete File button that is a red-and-white X. Click Yes at the Delete on Reboot prompt. Click OK at any PendingFileRenameOperations prompt (and please let me know if you receive this message!).

If your computer does not restart automatically, please restart it manually.

If you receive a message such as: "Component 'MsComCtl.ocx' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid." when trying to run Killbox, click here to download and run missingfilesetup.exe. Then try Killbox again.
