Safely Remove Hardware

I keep getting this Safely Remove Hardware thing on my tray everytime I logon, and when I click on it, it tells me that I can stop WD Cav 250GB Drive, which is my primary and only internal drive, so It shouldn't be asking me this. Is there anything I can do to stop this?

    let me guess, you have a nvidia nforce mother board and a sata ard drive? its because sata is hot swappable and you have a driver insalled called SW Driver if i remember correctly. it allows you to disconnect on the fly sata hard drives. once its on your machine im not sure how to stop it, but at least i knwow wats doing it :)
