laptop questions

hey I was wondering when HP might release a version of the dv8000t with a core duo in it, or something similar. Im looking for a good gaming laptop, that will also not be too expensive, highest I can go is 2,200. I also need this laptop for college.

    As far as I know, HP already has a version of the dv8000t with the core duo in it. Also, the dv5000t is just a shade less gaming-capable and several inches smaller & a bit lighter, which may be a good thing if you're porting it to classes. If you're just keeping it in your dorm room and need a desktop replacement, though, go for the dv8000t.
