Ok, If I were to upgrade, what motherboard would you recomend.

I would oc quite a bit, so the board will need to be stable, but I could really give 2 less flips about sli and crossfire, I just need a decent video card. I dont need a really high end motherboard, though one that will present itself with a decent feature set.

I have no budget at this time as I dont know how much will get me what, but keep it reasonable, i dont need a Sup3r 1337 HAx0R 4939205 Super SLI motherboard.

remember, this doesnt mean that I am definately upgrading, just testing the waters....BEFORE I JUMP IN BIOTCH!!

Do You want an AGP (NF3-250) mobo or a PCIe (NF4 or Xpress 3200) mobo?

    I'm assuming DDR & S939....

I've got my eye on the Abit AT8-32 ...it costs just what my A8R-MVP cost when I first got it.

I was looking for a mobo that was at, below, or around the $100 mark. I am trying to keep this build as close to $700 as possible, and I think that it is very possible.

I almost hate to say this, but I will anyway.
How long do want this mobo to last? There are two options that reviewers say overclock like mad, but neither is know for relaibility.
    Jetway 939GT4
    Foxconn NF4SK8AA-8KRS

Though I agree with CSimon, I love my DFI LP UltraD

I'd going to break with tradition here and recommend the Asrock 939Dual-SATA2 board. It has (working) AGP and PCIE support, along with an expansion port for possible AM2 upgrades.

    The price isn't bad either.

I'm actually thinking of building an atx/matx testbench with an matx foxconn. They've been getting more and more impressive over the past year or so.
