All I need is a video Card

I have a Dual Core Pentium D processor on an Intel Gigabyte MoBo, with dual DDR512 MB of memory and a 300GB Hard drive and all I need now to complete my computer is a video card! Im looking for a good 256MB PCI Express card for around $100. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

well a few questions come to mind. are you going to be gaming and if so which games, also what size monitor are you using and what type is it? CRT or LCD?

giving me a few hints to the above will pioint me in a good direction for you.

Well I am planning on doing some gaming, Battlefield 2 and such! and I have a 17" I think and its a CRT, not an LCD or flat panel.

I must say I am VERY much thinking of buying a couple 7600GS's for SLI on my machine, I found a couple at newegg costing about $100(each of course) plus at least one of them had a mail in rebate which made it like $80 afterwards, and I do turn in the mail in rebates

For $50 over your budget, there's a Radeon X850xt for $145+$5 shipping. From my understanding...this card is significantly more powerful than say...a 6600 GT.
But I'm not sure how this would compare to either a 7600 GS or GT...I'm a bit behind...
