Just stumbled across this in my Event Viewer. Anyone know what it is? Google returned nothing of value.

Well, do you have a device called the personal player?

Not that I know of. Might it be part of WMP9's copy protection? Or, I doubt it, but could it be connected to my MP3 player (as far as I can tell, this isn't part of its software)

Sure sounds like it's connected to your MP3 player. I don't think it's part of WMP9's copy protection, as when I've got my Creative Nomad Jukebox connected and operating, nothing of the sort shows up in Event Viewer. Even when it's not plugged in, I don't get anything of the sort.

Try restarting your comp with the MP3 player unplugged from the PC and see if you get the error? The driver software looks like it's trying to initialize an interface between the comp, your media software and the unit, but can't find the unit (because it's unplugged)?
