Missing a VBScript and can't open Window Media

Hi there, I been having a problem with my computer for a few days now. My Window Media just won't open, even though I uninstalled and re-installed it, and everytime when I start my computer up there would be a pop-up saying that a script engine is missing "VBScript is missing" (C:\program files\support.com\client\lserever\server.vbs).

I had no idea what VBScript was until I saw that pop-up, so I just ignore because I thought it wasn't that important. Then when I try to go to this Korean site that I always go to and had no problem with it until now (www.clubbox.co.kr/touya). It would load, but I couldn't see the content at all, I thought that the site was just down for a while (usually down for upgrade etc once in a while). But it still didn't load and saw all of it's contain for a couple of days and my friends say that they can view it etc. So, I decided to search the script that I'm missing and then I somehow came to this forum. So, I hope someone would be able to help me solve this problem of mine. :confused2


I read the stickies in this forum and have followed the instraction in "Read Here First Before Posting A HijackThis Log!"

Step 1: Clean out your temporary internet files and temp files
Done that.

Step 2: Scanning with Ad-Aware and SpyBot Search & Destroy
Done that.

Step 3: Scanning your computer for malware with online scans
I used IE to go to the sites and try to scan my computer, but for some reasons when I click on the scan buttons, nothing would happen, I couldn't click on the buttons. This happened for all three suggested online scan web sites.

Step 4: Getting a Firewall
I downloaded Zone Alarm

Step 5: Getting an Anti-Virus program!
I'm using NOD32 right now, but should I change it to Kaspersky Anti-Virus though? My friend told me to use NOD32, I don't know a lot about anit-virus program and all the other programs that protects your computer ._.


Step 6: Protecting yourself with Windows Update
I'm using Window XP and I have the Service Pack 2 installed.

Umm, I'm bumping this thread because my computer is really frustrating me. I can't seem to load the Microsoft Update page now. I'm not sure what is wrong with my computer. So, someone please help me out.
