Which program to keep turning on real protection: ewido, SpySweeper, WD beta2?

edited July 2006 in Science & Tech
My PC began running really loud after I installed ewido, spy sweeper, Windows Defender, and enabled the real protections.

I would really appreciate if anyone would tell me which program's real protection I should keep turning on, or I should turn on all the real protections.

Thank you for your time and assistance!

my guess is that an increase load on the cpu may have it running hotter, and if you have CnQ, or something else like that, it will raise the speed of the fan, it could be a pure (mis?)luck that the bearings in one of you fan are going out.

He was saying your computer is louder because your PC's fans are probably temperature-controlled. With a lot of additional programs running at one time, your computer probably needed to exert more effort, thereby producing more heat. When the heat increased, the fans increased in velocity to keep up.

Leave Spy Sweeper's real time protections enabled, as it's the best of the programs you've listed. Scan with all of them once a week, though.
