ATI Radeon 9600XT Now Available

edited October 2003 in Science & Tech
Today, ATI launched their newest mid-range video card offering: the ATI Radeon 9600XT. Sporting a new 500 MHz core built on the 0.13 micron process with 300 MHz DDR memory modules running on a 128-bit interface, the Radeon 9600XT is the very first video card to offer comparable Radeon 9700 features and performance in a sub $199 USD card.

There are a multitude of reviews on the new card floating around the net. Enjoy!

The 9600XT is a great mainstream card, whacking the 5600 Ultra into oblivion, yet still powerful enough to handle Half-Life 2 & Doom 3, not to mention all of today's games wonderfully well :)

And for $199, you can't beat it :)

14 months ago, I paid $400 for my Ti4400... now the thing is bested by a 9600 Pro @ $250.00.

    Sucks doesn't it :)
