very quick question[inactive]

A co-worker has a very messed up computer with virus and lord knows what else... she claims her computer is unusable in that she can't download things because of popups and such.

Can I save some of the very common tools (HJT, Ad-aware, ewido...) to a CD then have her open her comp in safe mode and install?

Or does safe mode prevent you from adding programs?

thanks

Well in safe mode you can't install products that use an install. HJT is just an exe; but AdAware and Ewido would need to be installed.

I gave the link there on how to use Hijack This 1.99.1 And where to download it.
Save it to a removeable media device, or burn to a cd, then scan her computer in safemode.
Save the log on the removeable media or CD, and upload to your computer. From there paste log here.
