Problems with IE Beta 7 and add-ons

edited August 2006 in Science & Tech
I somehow deleted some files that have now affected my IE add-ons. They are now disabled and I cannot download Shockwave or Active X. Streaming Video does not work.

The manage add-ons option under tools is also greyed out. Please assist. Thank you.

You can attempt to do a rollback to just after you installed IE7. This will only add what is missing. It won't remove everything you've done since then. Also make sure your running IE7 and not IE7 (no-addons). My start menu switched the two randomly, and it may have also happened to you. If you need help restoring, post back and I or someone else can give a quick walkthrough.

Thx Sno. I uninstalled IE 7 and reinstalled. Works fine.

Now if I can only get my Windows Media Player to allow me to see the video. Jeesh!!
