hotmail and msn accounts dont wanna long on

Everything else works just fine .. even the connection is perfect .. Im not sure if it is a firewall problem. my xp firewall is disabled and when I click on the norton security center it doesnt open at all. can somebody assist me through remote assistance and find out whats the problem please?

    well I just found out that all the https:// (secure) websites dun want to open on my laptop if that does help you with anything.
