Slipstream and add basic applications

So we have that article on Slipstreaming on the front page, and I'm wondering whether I can take it a step further. Is it possible to slipstream additional programs into the install, like Adobe Reader, Firefox, Photostory, and other applications? We frequently need to build an image for different models of machines on campus, and it would be immensely useful to have the whole process automated.

Also, anyone know of a way to make registry hacks and gpedit changes through slipstreaming? Or, a way to add multiple sets of drivers and have it select the correct ones?

Thanks!

I created our Division's Official slipstreamed of WinXP Pro.... I did it the without nLite...

Is it possible to slipstream an application into the WinXP install... Under my definition of slipstreaming, not that I know of but you can incorporate an install into the setup portion of the install. My version of WinXP has all the critical patches and several necessary applications on the WinXP Install CD. A normal install has these applications automatically installed but not actually incorporated into the OS. Get my meaning...

Registry settings can be done... user settings are a bit difficult to set without doing a bit more coding. Drivers are a bit tricky to do unless you already know the basic drivers you need but want Windows install to pick them up during install...

Group Policy... there is no nice way to do it without an third party application.
