F.E.A.R. Combat: Available Soon As Free Download

F.E.A.R. Combat will be available for download on August 17th 2006.

To play F.E.A.R. Combat, simply go to www.joinfear.com and register to obtain their free, Combat keycode. When the file is made available for download on Aug 17th 2006, consumers can install, enter their keycode, and get ready to join F.E.A.R. Combat!

F.E.A.R. Combat features:
* 10 Multiplayer Game modes.
* 19 Multiplayer Maps.
* 12 different weapons.
* Punkbuster support for anti cheat support.
* The capability to download user generated content.
F.E.A.R. Combat is the complete multiplayer component of F.E.A.R. and includes all the updates, additional official maps and additional official game modes all in one downloadable file. F.E.A.R. Combat users will be able to play against the owners of the retail version of F.E.A.R. as well as the other F.E.A.R. Combat users.

    From what I understand the key should only be available from August 17th when the game comes online for download. If you go to the official site it has a countdown meter as well as a link for subscription to a newsletter and early notification when the game becomes available for download.

    That is a very interesting move to say the least. I never did buy FEAR after playing the Demo, but I have a feeling that this could be a very popular multiplayer game due to the 'rather special' price tag :)

    I liked the game but I felt the multiplayer sucked hard. I hope this download has reamped the expieriance.

    LOL ...UFW is a TCE clan just like SEF. The guy who has the server goes by Winga. Sorry.

    UFW is clan for quite a few other fps games as well.
