Okay, this is an odd request, but one of my friends needs a better vid card, and he has and older dell. He has a budget of 50-100. I told him to save up and get a new pc, but whatever. Anyway, he needs a PCI (No, not PCI-E) interface card under 100. What's the best one you guys can get?

A 128-bit Fx5500 is available at Newegg. Best option for gaming I think.

    After that its a tossup between Fx5200 / 9200 / 9250.

i think the best bet is the PCI 6200 :) it supports new tech and run most games on low/ medium at 1024 x 768 :)

Yep, I'd agree with Sledge.. not much else to choose from I'm afraid. I've used a 9250 before, and it's pretty disappointing with anything modern. If you keep it below 800x600, it runs pretty smooth though.

You can also find a 6200 pretty cheap... $27.00 - $35.00 - 3D Fuzion 3DFR6200P Geforce 6200... its getting pretty hard to find, as it performs well and it is cheap... I have 2 of these at home in my server towers... they work great and I can vouch for them over the 5500 series :)

BFG who owns Fuzion seems to also offer a great PCI 6200...

It is probably a bit more in price as it sports 256MB memory....
