AMD executives signed a lease Tuesday to occupy part of the Harmony Corporate Center at Harmony and Ziegler roads, formerly known as the LSI Logic building. The 63-month lease will have AMD occupy more than a third of the building until at least January 2012.
Source: The ColoradoanPart of the first floor and the entire third floor will be remodeled for AMD. By November, employees will move into the Harmony Corporate Center, AMD spokesman Travis Bullard said.
Currently, the first few dozen AMD employees located in Fort Collins work at a temporary site at 3665 John F. Kennedy Parkway near the Fort Collins Marriott.
Eventually, an estimated 200 chip designers, engineers, support personnel and possibly product marketing employees could occupy 45,000 square feet of the 120,000-square-foot building. AMD seriously began considering Fort Collins for a new design center early this year.
