NF7-S Rev 2

edited October 2003 in Hardware
i am definatly asking for a NF7-S Rev 2 for Christmas and was wondering if

a) Does newegg sell the Rev 2?

b) is there any other place better than newegg to get it at
(probably no because ive bought all my parts from newegg and an extremely satisfied with there service)

thanks for the advice

All their NF7-S have been 2.0s since April.

Here, let me clear this up. I got a Rev 2.0 when I ordered mine. Check out the date and it will verify what Mr. Thrax posted.

I've been convinced that paranoia about the 1.2 and 2.0 revisions for the NF7-S are unnecessary. You should be pretty safe when ordering one. However, do be sure to check. Some companies will try to sleeze you out :\

    No.

Just get it from them. There are virtually no stocks of 1.2s left.

Look at the dare of my order above then consider that between all the users I know on a total of 6 boards I visit I have not heard of anyone NOT getting a Rev 2.0 from Newegg since I got mine over six months ago. It really seems unlikely that they have any other revisions in their wharehouse when Abit stopped making the Rev 1.2's just prior to releasing the 2.0 Then consider the reputation of Newegg and look at their rating at Reseller Ratings.

$125 then and its now like $113. Man it hasnt down much at all. Nothing new for the Athlon XP I guess.

I am wondering what the AN7 is going to be like. I want a review on that. I was going to ask for a NF7-S for christmas as well but then I saw this. If its better and OCes better than I will get the AN7. Even if it OCs the same.

I just ordered one from newegg about 2 weeks ago - rev 2.0 but it fried and is being replaced. I got really concerned about the physical damage clause they have but since it was a defect that caused the damage and not from me trying a vmod they are gladly replacing it. Newegg rocks!

Don't worry about it. I had the same concern but the NF7-S I ordered a month ago was also a v2.0. The v1.2s are long gone and Newegg is the best place to buy from - Period!
