Hey guys, I'm building a new system for a friend, and I thought you might be interested (even though it's a total budjet system and I wish he would have spent about $100 more).
Here's the specs:
CPU: The Intel Core 2 Duo E6400
Mobo: The boxdp965ltck
gpu: evga 7300gt (I know..sad isn't it?
)
mem: 2 x 512 ocz ddr800
also got a 160gb sata2 seagate hd and a 430w psu.
it should be built and running by next weekend
I didn't see myself coming within five miles of a conroe system any time soon..it seems I was wrong

Too bad he didn't spring for a slightly better graphics card.. a 7600GT or 7900GT would have topped that off as a great gaming rig, but I guess it all depends what he'll be using it for.
yeah I told him that I really wanted him to go a bit more on the graphics card, but he had a set budjet and that was the only thing we could really cut back on
oh well..it'll be better than my crappy rig at least
