I don't know Windows won't load.

Here's my pathetic story:
Day one: use computer, all good, turn off. (all seemed normal.)
Couple days later: turn on computer, get a message that it was interrupted, and Windows cant run, even while trying to run Safe Mode, it can't get past the windows loading screen. It ends up with a 30 second choice of default settings, last good settings, and 3 safe modes, safe mode, safe mode with cmd, and safe mode with network. man... i am stuck!

By the way this is another computer.

The quickest first step is to go "last known good configuration". That will load the last registry settings that successfully booted up. If any software changes happened while you were up the first time, those won't be included in the "last good known". If you aren't getting any errors about "system hive" or "hal.dll" kind of stuff, the last good registry is an easy and likely place to start.

i've tried all possible choices, safe mode doesn't run, and normal setting crashes after the windows load screen and causes the computer to restart.. back the the 30 second screen.. i need some REAL big help. Thanks in advance.. :(

When you say it worked "day one", do you mean this computer is just a few days old? What brand is it? Do you have a lot of data on it or would it be pretty easy to just restore to factory condition and start over?

sorry for not clarifying that, the computer is almost 3 years old.

I have lots of information on it, and my hard drive only has a few hundred megabytes of free space.. i'm clueless it really doesn't work, i think i might have to take it to a computer technician.

Edit: and it's a custom built computer.
