Seeing how I download my anime, there is a point where you have to choose to keep them on the hard drive, burn them to DVD or buy them.

Love Hina Again is easily available for download, I watched them over the weekend. They're excellent quality as well.

The music for Love Hina takes a little getting used to at first, but the theme song for Love Hina Again I play constantly now, it's just great.

Yeah, I'm downloading those three right now. However, I will still buy the set.

I could post my current anime activities file.

I'm waiting for the boxed set to finally become available. The boxed sets for episodes 1-25 I have seen in Chinatown, but the prices for those are ridiculous, being so rare. :bawling:

This is the bundle I had seen in Chinatown.

The more expensive one seems to be the "official" import from Japan while the less expensive one a Made in the USA arrangement. If I were a serious collector the choice would be obvious but I'm not that rich... :wtf:

I think you got it around the wrong way. The one I posted is an import from Japan, hence no English dubbing.

The one you posted has English dubbing, thus its the one made for in the US Arrangement

Yeup, my mistake then. 100 bucks for an english dubbing. agh.

Though in some cases I enjoyed the dubbing as much as the Japanese, Magical Knights Rayearth being one example.

Its very rarely if at all do I enjoy watching dubbed anime. They will often de-Japanize the dialogue when dubbing it, voices that change drasticaly when dubbed among other things.

One example is Ai Yori Aoshi. Hanabishi Karou's voice when dubbed is wildly different than when in its original, Same with Aoi. His dubbed voice irritates me, Aoi's voice isn't nearly as bad though.

When I watch a anime DVD, I will go into the setup first make sure its in Japanese dialogue and english subtitles.

    Nope

    //EDIT
That schedule doesn't include Scrapped Princess that just finished airing in Japan about two weeks ago. I have this downloaded, and as soon as its available in the US, I will buy it. So things will get moved around depending on its US release date. I will not buy alot of the stuff on discountanimedvd.com because most of their imports are actually TV rips and don't have any extras (most will have 8 episodes per DVD), are translations of Japanese language to Chinese subtitles to English subitles.

Wow that a lot of anime! I personally like dbz, trigun, and cowboy bebop. I also like lupin but not the dub ones and there isn't many to download either. I am currently downloading prince of tennis, it really good if you like tennis!

    I suggest also www.meganimedvd.com
    They have good prices.

BTW, Gargoyle just got the Cowboy Bebop 4 disc LTD ed. soundtrack. Talk about cool! I already had all the OSTs and Movie soundtrack, but Garg's discs are super tight!

We're in the middle of GTO, and I started to show him FLCL, but it blew his mind too and led to him screaming about Vespas at night.. oh well.

gibbonsl, add the following to the list if you haven't already:

    Scrapped Princess - 24 episodes (best fansub done by AKeep&ANBU http://a.scarywater.net/akeep/ )
Has all 24 episodes packed in one download (they still are single episodes, but it is downloaded in one directory the Bittorrent client creats)

Ai Yori Aoshi second season - 13 Episodes, special and episode 1 has aired and available for download from Anime-Kraze's website via bittorrent. (done only by AniKraze due to it being licensed by Geneon (formerly Pioneer AnimatioN) - http://torrent.anime-kraze.net:6969/ )

Onegai Twins - essentially a sequal/spin off of Onegai Teacher. Previous characters from Onegai Teacher all show up in different episodes. There are 13 episodes, 1st-12th has already aired and available for download. The 12th episode is treated as the final episode, and the 13th is treated like the OVA like it was in Onegai Teacher - [Inf & AonE] is the best fansub for this http://a.scarywater.net/aone/ )
