Um...help???

:aol: Uh ya...im new to this idea of "computers" let alone "viruses/trojans/adware". I was directed to this site from a friend anyway, i believe i have a virus (or something to that extent). When i start my computer normally it gets down to the windows(xp) "welcome" screen. Right then my monitor goes blank for 5 seconds :confused2 then it shows the screen as all scrambled and no mouse/text/anything normal is displayed. I cant alt f4, alt control delete or anything i know of to get out of it.:sad2: The only way to use my computer is to go into safe mode and try to scan with mcafee and ewido. They didnt find anything and sadly im typing this to hope to find somone or something to help me :rant::rant::rant: :sad2: :sad2: :sad2: . Oh yeah I dont get to check this forum much so please be patient with me and speak english (no super computer language i'm dumb).

    Have you created any System Restore points?

    Well according to a older brother of mine the virus is to far in for it to restore. I tried regardless and nothing changed. Anyway thanks for responding to my plea :) .

    I think at this point just get all of your data off and reformat.
