Prometeia & Video Card: An Overclockers Dream

edited October 2003 in Science & Tech
Most of us have overclocked our video cards at one point or another, whether for braging rights or just to get that little extra performance out of a card. The only thing stopping you is every overclocker's nemesis: heat. Even with extra air cooling, video overclocks usually can't get very high. What if you were able to freeze your video card and see how far you could overclock it?

Enter the cooling machine known as the Prometeia Mach II. With enough cooling power to keep your drinks (and video card) nice and cold, the Prometeia is primarily used for cooling CPU's so they could be overclocked to hell and beyond.

Ever wonder what would happen if you could mount a Prometeia on your ATI Radeon 9800 Pro? VR-Zone takes a look at just how to do that. Needless to say, it's cool.
