DHCP question

My setup is 2-Wire 2700HG DSL modem to a Netgear RangeMax WPN824.

Do I need to have DHCP enabled on my DSL Modem?

Currently I have DHCP enabled on my router and DHCP is Disabled on the DSL Modem.

    No. Leave DHCP on the modem off. Your router handles DHCP to the rest of the network.
