And just the other day you were just telling me that your first PC, including monitor and printer and other goodies, cost about $3000. ;D

    Wow times have changed.

Pretty close, except there were NO "other goodies". :vimp:

At the first computer repair shop I worked for, the going rate was $55/hr; $80/hr for field service. It's no surprise to see so many of them (including my former employer) out of business now. :sawed:

That's a local price for that store (Norfolk, VA) - I couldn't find that deal on the normal office depot site

Didnt notice that. But I selected my store, searched for HP 352, and found it for the same price. That'd be a sweet little deal for a kid, young teen, or elderly person.

Edit: Could it be possible that it doesn't even come with an OS??

*Price for computer configuration shown. Shipping and handling additional. Shipping times may vary. Orders for configured computers must be placed at a U.S. Office Depot® retail store. Actual product available through delivery only.
I should point out that they charge you another $99 for flat-rate freight delivery.

Don't know about the OS, but being Office Depot I would be amazed if it didn't come with one. Their typical customer is not exactly the do-it-yourself type. :tongue2:

I love how vague the specs are. It may as well just say "It has stuff in it" and it would pretty much cover what is said :p

Office Depot is pretty good about that kind of thing. However, if the rebates are with other parties...

I'd rather have an OLPC. :D
