Exclusive Max Payne 2 Review @ IcronticGames
IcronticGames has one of the first web reviews of Max Payne 2 live on the web..
[blockquote]In 2001 a title going by the name of “Max Payne” hit our PC’s – and if we are all honest, none of us were truly prepared for the experience. It really was a truly ground breaking title. Even more so, its testament to the greatness of the original Max Payne that if we slap it back into our PC’s today it still has the power to amaze. So nobody was without doubt to improve the greatness of the original title would take a very special sequel. Well after two years, that sequel has indeed arrived. Is it any different?[/blockquote]
[blockquote]Max Payne 2 will undoubtedly be game of the year now (helped by the Half-Life 2 delay perhaps). This reviewer looking back thinks that Max Payne might just have made it either way. Speaking of Half Life2, trust me, for now at least you won’t even miss it. The only disappointment you will ever feel is when you complete it and it’s all over, like one of your favourite books you dread the end. It can be played over however, and should be, to catch the bits you missed first time.[/blockquote]
