Maxtor Provides up to 150 GB Per Platter

Maxtor announced a few days ago that one of its owned subsidiarys, has demonstrated the benefits of using its new manufacturing process (PMR), which is reported to be able to create tomorrows hard drive technology at todays production costs.

    This is a major step in killing the harddrive as a botleneck of a fast system but it won´t be enough i´m afraid. Lappys would REALLY benefit from this technology though and hopefully, they could make some 2.5 inchers of this.
