Anyway use USB wireless adapter as a WIFI finder

Hi there,

Is there anyway or application that become my USB wireless adapter to a WIFI signal finder when I connected it to the pc?

    Most WiFi cards (including the USB ones) come with a utility that finds networks that are broadcasting their SSID. This is typically called the "Site Survey" - look and see if your user's manual has any details on that.

    Wireless devices generally scans for a signal, in effect becoming a signal finder. They are designed to do that.

    Not sure exactly what you're asking for, since that's what wireless devices do by default (search for single when plugged into a computer).

    Edit: GHoosdum posted first. Most devices do come with their own software, but Windows XP (and on) have their own. Either way works.
