Personally, I am a huge fan of Avast!

Alot of people that Ive worked with in the past go with either that, or AVG.

Symantec DOES have a 64-bit version. Is it available for purchase, I'm not sure. I have the corporate version. McAfee didn't seem to care what and installed fine.

Anyone else have experience on 64-bit AV?

I looked into NOD32 and it caught 100% of all virii on the vbulletin and it highly rated. but i'm quite agrivated because i read some reviews and they are ALL highly rated. I need some user opinions and perhaps the reviewers should go more in depth to actually separate them better so we can all know exactly who is running things in the AV world. that's just my opinion. Still not sure what to go with. Computer is soon to be here...... RATS!

consumer reports just did a test on quite a few number of AV products, which were probably just the 32bit versions. But you might want to check it out anyway just to see. Not sure when the story will run/ran.

I'd assume that a 32 and 64 bit version would be the same. If the 32-bit rated GREAT and they have a 64-bit, I'm sure it's good too.
