Hi all,
I am trying to access my online bank. When I do I get an error message that says 'Error trying to validate certificate from (URL) using OCSP-unauthorised request'. My wife gets a similar error when she trys to open her Ebay account, All other sites open fine.
Any ideas?

The certificate used to authenticate your session with the websites in question is either invalid, corrupt, or needs to be updated. You can disable OCSP validation by selecting the appropriate radio button in firefox (if that is the browser you are using):Tools>>Options>>Advanced>>Security Tab>>Do not use OCSP for OSCP certificate validation.

If you encounter the same problem while using any broswer on your computer, check your time on the computer as was previously suggested, as it may be too far ahead and cause the certificate to prematurely expire.

Cheers guys. The date and time were OK so I disabled OCSP and it works. I have never messed with any of these settings so don't know why it was using OCSP, I presume there is no problem with leaving it disabled?
