Help! Clock missing!!

edited September 2006 in Science & Tech
Hello all,
Hope you all are doing well. I have a minor problem with my windows xp home MCE. It is beginning to drive me crazy. My problem is that the system tray clock has dissapeared. It seems to be still there, just invisible. If I mouse over where the clock should be, I get a box with the date(just like normal) and if I go to taskbar properties the option for showing the clock is already ticked. If I right click where the clock should be, it brings up the date and time properties. So everything is as it should be except that I cannot see the time. If anyone can help with this you will be my hero. Thanks alot.:banghead:

"showing the clock is already ticked"
Try un ticking the clock then re-starting your pc, this will clear the clock. then re-tick the clock and re-start the pc again this should make the clock function again properly. Good luck

.....nope, did not work. I even resorted to running a windows repair. I was really sure that would fix it, but it didn't work either. This is really starting to bug me.:grumble:
