Microsoft clears up its own XP SP2 confusion
Three days ago a Microsoft vice president told the world that Service Pack 2, for Windows XP, would be made available at the end of 2003. The software giant now has retracted that statement and said that customers can only expect to see a beta version of SP2 this year.
