I like kaspersky, but it's annoying as well... I used it for a while but now I am back to good ol' set it and forget it AVG ;)

Yes... Remove AVG. Most Anti Virus Applications really do not play together nicely. Only one should be installed at any one time. So, uninstall AVG and then install and try out kaspersky. If you don't like it, go back to AVG.

    I vote neither.

I run 2 programs. NOD32 dor AV and BOCLEAN for Trojans.

Nod32 is the lightest AV on resources and has a detection as good as Kapersky.

BOCLEAN is a very small realtime trojan zapper that works in the background. A trojan gets through and BOCLEAN pops up and kills it and the file it came in. I have been amazed by what it catches and not all from the dark side of the tracks either. It has never falsed positived me either. I have been known to walk down a back alley ot two on occasion and I'm always clean after.

I still run Ad Aware and Spybot once a week for drill and cookies.

Just had to start a best, better, favorite debate :)

I think i may do what you suggested. I'll try out kaspersky, and if i don't like it i can always go back to AVG. But the one's missleman tlak about may seem useful too..i'll try kaspersky! :)
