IE Help

Hi,

I have 4 computers in my house. 2 are wired directly in the router and 2 are wireless. 3 of the computers work without fail. Today, out of the blue, one of the wireless computers started acting up....always out of the blue right?

Anyway, the computers are all networked together. I tried to get on the internet with the faulty machine and it will come up with my hompage for about 3 seconds and then just close the connection. I rebooted the machine...still the same result. I restored it to the settings from yesterday...still the same result. I changed the homepage in the properties... still the same result. I rebooted the router...still the same result. I went in to my network places and it sees my other computer with no problems and navigates like it should.

Any ideas on what could be wrong on the faulty machine? My parents use it and I would like to be able to get them fixed up.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The info you give is a tad difficult to understand.. you say after your homepage opens for 3 seconds the connection closes.... but yet you are able to browse the internal network like maybe a shared folder on another system? If so, then in what way does the connection close?

Additionally, does the page not fully load? Or does it fully load then after 3 seconds it dissapears? More info please.

I am able to use the shared folder system with no problems. The page fully loads then dissapears. The only thing not working is the net.
