Linux: Wireless card without ndiswrapper

So, my built in wireless card is on the fritz, and I'm looking to buy a wireless g pcmcia card to replace it. However, I would like to get it working in linux without ndiswrapper, just to avoid some hassle.

So, any suggestions for a wireless card with linux support that doesn't need ndiswrapper? (Or a list of supported hardware on the internet?)

Thanks.

I'd just use that page for reference to be honest.

that was the plan, but I wanted to post it in case someone else wanted the same info.

also, the linux wlan page has a support listing...

I pretty much exclusively use D-Link cards because nearly all of them have Atheros chipsets that run under madwifi and support wpa_supplicant. I've had nothing but trouble with ACX100 chipsets and Broadcomm chipsets. Any card marked MIMO uses a Ralink chipset which also *should* work under Linux with the rt2x00 driver. You might want to do some investigating on that note though since the MIMO chipsets are fairly new.

Ironically I bought a D-Link wireless card with a Ralink chipset in a little while back (PCI) and had hell of a time getting it to work. None of the drivers wanted to work at all.
