ECS Motherboards

Can any one tell me if an ECS MOTHERBOARD is worth buying, I am looking to purchase a new tower and I am seeing that they all come with an ECS MOTHERBOARD and I was told they are junk, can you guys help me out with your opinions, Thank you.

    They tend to not have a lot of settings for overclocking and such, but I have easily 15 of these out there. Many have been running without a glitch for over 6 years.

    I've never had a bad one.

    Wouldn't call that junk. They are a good solid MB especially for the money.

    When the K7S5A was popular, I was advising people to buy them all the time. But that was before I had long-term experience with them. Out of four boards I had experence with, two were fine, one got a little glitchy after a couple of years, and one shot sparks out of the USB ports and fried all the attached devices after it was about a year old.

    Personally, I now pay a little more to get a board from a more reliable company.
