xp loads then displays black screen
there is probably a very simple explanation but i have tried everything...
windows xp came installed on my computer so i have no disk
i did a system restore (F10 key on start up, followed the steps)
windows begins to load then goes to a black screen where it does nothing
it wont start in safe mode
and the last good configuration does nothing either
i tried both of these before i attempted the restorationbut had no luck
this problem started with what i am sure was a virus
any help would be appreciated
