Billing / Invoicing Software

Hey guys I wanted to ask for some recommendation.

I need a good billing/invoicing solution.

I send out invoices every month for hosting on websites I designed etc. I also do repairs and some other things I occationally bill out. Nothing major.

I was wondering what you guys use to bill or invoice clients?

I have tried quickbooks and it worked but I felt it was overly complicated and bloated for what I need. Quickbooks just seem to be too much. I looked at quickbooks online but I am not sure about that.

I also looked on hotscripts.com to try and find a web solution. I found an assortment of PHP scripts but none of them seemed to fit my needs. I also tried out Blinksale and Freshbooks, but they mainly centered around e-mailing the invoices, I need to print them instead. Figured a web solution could be nice because then I could print the invoices anywhere, although at this point I really don't care.

I just want to find a simple app that will get the job done and help me keep track of my invoices, however, so far I have not found a good Win/OSX/web solution...

please throw some recommendations my way! :cool2:

Grisbi (m$ and *nix) and gnucash (*nix). Turbocash (UK) m$. All open source.
I have used grisbi with little learning curve in the recent past for biz purposes, but do not claim to be a pro. I works like quickbooks and is fairly intuitive. I currently use it for home usage.

I have a customer who uses quickbooks online, it seems to work really well for light usage stuff.

I use wordpad in Win XP. Very simple and easy to use.
Here's an example form I removed my stuff from and changed a little. workinvoicecd8.th.jpg

    i supported a company that used Wintac ( http://www.intacinternational.com/ )

for very specific industries. they used it for HVAC work. looked really nice and not too complex, they may make a version for what your looking for. maybe worth looking into.
