cookie settings irrelevant for particular website
Hello and thank you for all your help. I am having a problem accessing a certain website, Blockbuster.com to be precise. It requires a login and password. When I try to login I am told the following:
The browser you're using cannot sign in. It is not accepting our cookies. We use cookies to identify you. Read more about cookies and how we use them in our privacy policy. To assure that your browser accepts our cookies, please try one of the following:
Sign in again. If your browser asks, accept the cookies.
Make sure your browser is enabled to allow cookies. The setting is usually found in the privacy settings, but you'll need to consult your browser's "Help" file for more information.
Check that you are using the most recent version of your browser. Our site works best with Internet Explorer 6.0 or greater and Netscape 7.0 or greater.
I have done everything I can think of with my cookie settings from the most relaxed to the most restricted. I have recently downloaded and am using IE 7although I know it's not that because the problem started with IE 6. I have also never received the prompt to allow the cookies. Every other site that I access, login or not, is working perfectly. Again thanks for all your help.

First, delete your cookies just in case. You'll have to log in to everything again but you've saved all your log ins.......right?
If that doesn't work, you could go to Tools> Internet Options> Privacy and hit the "Sites" button. Then plug in blockbuster.com and tell it to "allow". While you're right there, just make sure blockbuster.com isn't showing as a blocked site.
