dell 2007FPW and ATI Radeon 9600 help

Hey, im interested in buying a dell 2007FPW, but im wondering my 9600 will be able to hold up at 1680x1050 during games like CoD2, at lowest possible settings? Btw, the 9600 will only be in there until whenever DX10 cards come out.


Also my uncle is using the 24 inch version of the monitor at 1900x1200 with the same card and his works fine, except he doesn't play games, mostly photo and video editing.

    i run my 2005FPW with a X850xt 256mb and it handles HL2 ok at that resolution. i imagine if you dont max the eye candy you would be ok for the next 6 months, but yes I would upgrade the card as soon as possible.

    i asked here in the forums a couple months ago if my x850 would handle a 2407FPW @ 19x12 and it was determined that it prolly wouldnt do too well with gaming, just to give you a ball-park.

    Ok well it came today and CoD2 ran at an acceptable framerate at the lowest settings.
