Anyone know of a good free flowcharting program? Or maybe uber cheap but good for planning GUI layout and stuff?

yeh, cmaps. at least it is kind of a flow chart, you can make it what ever you want.

We had to use them all last year in physics, because my teacher wanted to experiment with it and see how it worked.

I've never used it personally, but i've heard that Smartdraw is pretty good at getting the job done. I'm not sure if it's completely free or if this is a trial.

    Dia for Windows
Dia is a diagram drawing software similar to Visio.... Dia is free software available under the terms of the GNU General Public License, the GPL.

Haven't used it (I have Visio) but several friends and co-workers use it... give it a try. It's free... :D

Well I'm pretty sure you need this ASAP

BUT, if you didn't you can get a beta copy of Office 2007 sent to you for $5. Which will include Visio 2007 Beta I think. At least it included it in the package I downloaded...

    cheers
