.MOV file question

a family member has burned to CD for me, several vids taken with digital cam.
one .MOV file is sideways, and not easily viewed, obviously. :)

is there a way i can go about rotating the file?

it's showing as a "Q[uickTime] Movie", and is approximately 70MB.

i know absolutely nothing of this sort of thing.. if i need to post more info, please let me know..

much obliged for any help. :)

Actually, there's a pretty good chance that the .MOV file is just fine and that the person holding the camera was holding it portrait-style. We have some amusing family footage that was taken that way. If you've got a flat panel display, you could try rotating that ;).

    Lol.
last i checked, my screen is still attached to the laptop. ;)
but yes, - the cam was held "portrait" style while recording.
