Uninstall Program issues.

I am trying to uninstall ATI's Multimedia Center from the "Add or Remove Programs" list in XP Pro and I get an error message

"Error: -1618 Another installation is already in progress. Complete that installation before proceeding with this install"

In my "Add or Remove Programs" list I have to versions 9.03 and 9.15 removing both gives the same message. Modifying or Repair gives me the same message.

What/where do I need to look to stop the install or fix the reason that the uninstaller thinks there is another installation running?

    Post a HijackThis log. Maybe we can spot something weird running that shouldn't be.

    You might also try searching for the Windows Installer program and reinstall it. I've had it go nuts on me a time or two and a reinstall has always fixed it right up, :)

    Or you could try Windows Installer Cleanup Utility.
