Crashing to desktop, Need help!

edited October 2006 in Hardware
Hi,
The problem seems to have started happening since a new motherboard and CPU was introduced. It will just crash to the desktop when i start it up, the same happens for the BF2142 demo. I'm not sure what else to do. If it helps, i've put the dump file and also, ive looked at my system restore points. When my computer was having the MBD and CPU replaced three things were recorded:
Zainstalawano %1%2
ZainStalawano %1%2 (dont know why its twice)
Installed RAIDApplication

Thanks in advance!

PS. Im not sure if this is the right forum, but it seemed hardware related to me :confused2

Below is the dump file:

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling BF2, and that hasnt worked. But surely if it happens with both the demo and BF2 (the demo was installed after the hardware change) it can be due to that can it? As for the windows install, i have to wait another week before the CD comes, is it worth just waiting for that, or are there any other things i can try?

    Thanks again!

You can google for the details, but when you swap a motherboard you can sometimes delete all the hardware entries in device manager, and let the system re-install the correct drivers /devices.

Try this but do it from Safe Mode, more likely to work.

Does this happen on this game only or any other game you're trying to run?
When upgrading motherboard+CPU I recommend ALWAYS to reinstall the OS, there are sometimes weird conflicts between old and new drivers which makes windows freak out.

Also if this happens when you put your system under a heavy load or in other games to it could be a power supply problem.
