How do I install these type of fans

they just come with these screws but what do they screw into? do I have to drill?

    you should have 80mm holes in your case, usually a couple in the back and a couple in the front. For the front ones, you may have to take the front bezel off.
    Which case do you have?

    some dell dimension 4600 case

    I'm not sure which screws your refering to but I'm assuming your talking about some short fat screws that come with the fan.
    If they look like these case fan screws.
    They are self tapping screws that screw into the fan from the outside of the case.
    The fan on the inside and screws from the outside.
    I'm not sure about the dell dimension 4600 case though.
    I tried looking online for a picture of it and where the fans are.
    To see if they had the holes for the fan screws, but I couldn't find a pic of the fan areas.
    If it doesn't have the holes, you could always mod it a little bit and drill the holes to fit.
    Just make sure you make the holes slightly smaller than the screws threads, so they can self tap into the holes.
